Motorcycle Repair: FLHTC BUMPERS, rear fenders, rear fender

QUESTION: WANNA REMOVE THE BUMPERS.
HOW MUCH INVOLVED?
I AM MECHINICALLY INCLINED.
DO I NEED TO LIFT THE BIKE?
CAN I DO IT ON THE GROUND?

ANSWER: I am not sure what you mean by the bumpers.

QUESTION: BY BUMPERS.....THE SMALL BUMPERS THAT ARE ATTACHED TO THE FRONT AND REAR FENDERS. I WANT A CLEAN LOOK ON THE FRONT AND REAR FENDER AND WANT TO REMOVE THESE "BUMPERS".

If youa re wanting just to remove the rubber, they are attached on the inside of the fenders. If you wan to remove the chrome as well, they are also attached to the inside of the fender. Both jobs will require you to remove the wheels to get to them
