Motorcycle Repair: 1982 Honda Custom fusebox?, battery cables, winter storage

Question
Thanks for taking my question.  I recently took my bike out of winter storage.
I put the battery on a charger that I bought from the store where I had it
repaired last fall.  He told me to plug it in all winter, and every 21 days the
charger would check the charge of the battery, and add charge if needed.

I took the bike out, and hooked up the battery.  The lights and everything
came on.  When I tried to turn it over, I heard a faint "pop" sound near the
battery and fusebox.  The lights went out, and wouldn't come back on.  I
pulled the battery back out. My question is, did I blow a fuse?  And if so, why
did it blow?  Could the battery be overcharged?

Answer
check the battery cables to make sure there not backward and if not check the cables for a wear spot or short.you have a conection problem or dead short. Also make sure you have a good ground because DC current will hunt a ground back through the positive side if ground is weak.
