Motorcycle Repair: timming, honda shadow, bill silver

i have a 1992 Honda shadow vt 1100. my question is where do i find the trimming advance to time it? and does it take a special tool?

Larry, the ignition timing starts with the pulser coil, next to the flywheel, and then is controlled by the ignition control module. There is no adjustment to be made or needed.
