Motorcycle Repair: oil leak, clutch basket, stator

Question
I have oil leaking out of the case from the rubber where the alternator plugs into the stator. Is this a big job to repair? 1994 sofail evo motor. Thanks Larry

If you ahve a oil leak there, about hte only thing you can do is replace the stator. the plug is part of the stator.
You would have to remove the primary cover, clutch basket, motor sprocket and the hub around the stator.
