Motorcycle Repair: 94 Kawasaki 750, kawasaki 750, zx7

My headlight won't work! Bulb is fine, ground and positive wires are in thier places.  How can I narrow down the problem before I take the whole bike apart?

Kawasaki has been know for this issue. 1st thing is, If you've ever installed an aftermarket headlight,ie:xeon, true blue, etc., or sometimes even if you havent, Kawasakis' ignition switches are known to go bad, the bike will run, but the headlight won't work.Especialy with the ZX7's

My suggestion is, (if you haven't yet) check the fuse for the headlight, then if it's good, replace the ignition switch. Its one or the other..
