Motorcycle Repair: 2004 vtx 1300s, fuse panel, electrical problem

Question
i was having an electrical problem or still am? My lights were flickering, directionals, neutral light, and headlight. The engine would run rough for a couple of seconds but would smooth out and run fine the rest of the day. This just started happening recently. I thought it might be a loose batt. connection so I tightened them both, [a little turn on both but not real loose] Now I took it for a short ride two blocks and it bucked a few times and stalled. I re-started it and limped home, stalling again.I am the second owner and have no knowlege of the original owner. I have put about 3000 mi. on it so far with no problems[ up until now.] Any ideas?

Answer
Mike,

The 22 pin connector goes to your ICM or ignition
control module, no wonder it stalled out.
Good work!

-sounds like the vtx bad ground gremlins
may be at work, check these pages:

-if not check your ignition control unit connector
and fuse panel.
