Motorcycle Repair: changed clutch still wont go, honda cbr 600, clutch basket

Question
Hey man i have a 2000 Honda CBR 600 F4. I was recently practicing my willies. Then I tried to do a burn out and i revved the throttle then when to drop the clutch and she didnt move at all. So i looked threw the sight gauge for oil and seen little specs of black crap. So i for sure thought clutch. So i take cover of and the disc and pads and the first 3 or 4 were straight ripped up. So bought new clutch with springs, disc, and pads. Now i go to put it in gear and it still dont go. No noise from trans but i and stumped can you help please?

Thanks Patrick

Answer
Patrick,

-the engine gear turns the big gear on the clutch basket,
the power then is transferred to the inner clutch
through the clutch plates or discs.

-The inner hub is attached to the transmission
mainshaft and the power is then transferred through
the gears to the countershaft and sprocket.

-If you have the clutch cover off, just follow the
power through as I have listed.
-See if both the clutch
outer and inner hub are turning if you turn
the engine, if not the clutch is still slipping.
It may need to be reassembled or maybe adjustment
is too tight, you need play in the cable etc.

-If the clutch inner hub turns, the transmission
should turn the sprocket when in any gear.
If not, you have a broken trans shaft, gear
or bad spline, all transmission problems.

-you can even pull the clutch apart and try
turning the shaft the clutch is on.
If in gear, you should be able to feel
it pull the bike if trans is okay.
