Motorcycle Repair: honda cb750f, clutch cable, throttle cables

Question
just bought model year: 1982. high revs when i engage the clutch, any reason
and how to fix?  thanks for help.

Answer
Jean-Paul.... The fast throttle response may also occur when you turn the handlebars fully back and forth.... Generally, the clutch cable and throttle cables are interfering with each other, under the fuel tank.

Pull the seat, disconnect the fuel lines, remove the fuel tank and then look at the proximity of the clutch cable to the throttle cables. Probably the clutch cable failed and was replaced, but the routing was not observed in the process. Obviously, DO NOT ride the bike until you fix the problem here.
