Motorcycle Repair: 2006 GSX-R750 low rpm shutter, suzuki gsx r750, 2006 suzuki gsx r750

Question
When i decelerate in about any gear, right at 2,000 rpm, it seems to shutter for a second or two until its at or below 1,000rpms. Is this normal? Nothing else is happening at anytime.

John, probably a great question for the GSXR newsgroup, but not here for MrHonda, the vintage expert. I suggest that you search for "2006 Suzuki GSX-R750 Stutter" like I did and go to sites like: http://www.gixxer.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=80

If the bike is still under warranty, take it back to the dealership or call them to see if there is a known issue with this machine. Sounds like it could be a computer generated event, for emission purposes, but that is a wild guess. I have no experience with Suzukis, especially late model sport bikes. Not my brand or type of machine.
