Motorcycle Repair: 1971 honda z50ak2 mini trail, engine case, mini trail

i am restoring this bike & i would appreciate it if you could tell me where to align the flywheel & points set & also the points gap setting

Glen,
Check the points to see if the contacts are flat,
you can file them a little if need be.
Set the points gap at about .014"
Align the "F" mark with the timing index mark
at the top of the engine case. The points should
just break open when these marks line up.
You can use a multimeter on the black wire
exiting the engine case to check when they open.
