Motorcycle Repair: lowering 06 Dyna street Bob, bikers choice, lowering kits

I replaced the stock shocks w/ progressive 11" 418's and BAM the fender slams directly onto the Belt. What is your suggestion for lowering a street bob.  Thanks

When you change the shocks, you can usually go only about 1 inch lower without hitting. There are some lowering kits out there which work without changing the shocks. Check some web sites like Bikers Choice, V-twin, or Custom chrome to see if they have anything that will work for you.
