Motorcycle Repair: Nuetral light

Hi Roy. I don't have a major problem but have an annoying one. I have a 99 Wideglide. The neutral switch sometimes blinks on and off or doesn't come on at all. What would cause this and if it needs a new switch where is it at on the bike, Thanks

Probably just the switch unless the wire is being grounded somewhere because it's frayed.  The switch is on the top of the transmission near the back and closer to the right side.  Just disconnect the wire and ground the wire. If the neutral light comes on then the switch is bad.  Unscrew it and replace it.
