Motorcycle Repair: 96 roadking again, radiator shop, fuel injection system

Question
I have asked about this bike before and your advise was sound. However it did not solve my problem {thanks though for trying}. I have been struggling with my fuel injection system for some time now and have spent an embarrassing amount of cash at a local shop and on my own. I have found what I am sure is the majority of my problem but again i am stumped. The factory lining of my fuel tank is coming off and has made its way through the entire injection system. I have the tank off and have removed the pump filter, lines , and injectors. How can I clean the rest of that lining out of the tank? I have asked local dealers and they would rather sell me a new tank. The local radiator shop won't touch it because they can't identify the coating. It seems someone somewhere has to know of a chemical or a process that will remove the factory liner.       Thank you for your help and for the help you give to others.

Answer
The radiator shop that I use has no problem with cleaning a bad liner and then putting a new one in.
I am not sure what will remove it, unless you use automotive stripper. The problem with that is getting it all over the inside of the tank and keeping it off the paint. If you are careful you should be able to get it off with that and then have it relined.
Good luck and happy riding
