Motorcycle Repair: maintenance on 1991 Sportster 883, sportster 883, hose clamp

Question
I'm trying to drain the oil tank and need to know how to remove the hose clamp. Also, want to change choke to new one (I know it's not called a choke on a Harley). I'm doing this as a gift for my husband; I just bought this used Harley and it hasn't been ridden in 2 years.
HELP!!

Answer
Just use a screwdriver to loosen the hose clamp so that the hose slides off.
To change the choke use a 11/16 wrench to loosen the locknut int he choke bracket. Remove the air cleaner and carb. Where the choke attaches to the carb there is a 9/16 plastic nut. Remove it and the choke assembley will pull out of the carb. Install in reverse. Dont tighten the 11/16 nut to tight. You will break the plastic adjuster.
Good luck and happy riding
