Motorcycle Repair: Outer Fairing, windshild, running light

Question
I have a 1994 FLTCU Ultra and last fall I damaged the right corner of the outer fairing about a 4X4 inch area.  I need to get it repaired and repainted but it is not necessary to take the complete bike to the body shop.  How can I remove the outer fairing to get it repaired and repainted?
Thanks\Bob

Answer
You can remove the fairing. First, romove the headlight housing. Then remove the running light bar. Go to the top of the fairing and remove the bolts that go through the windshild. Looking inside the headlight housing hole you will see a bolt on each side. remove them and the fairing will slide off
Good luck and happy riding
