Motorcycle Repair: Identify an engine, vertical cylinders, honda engine

Question
I have an engine and I was wondering if you can help me in identifying it. It is a 175cc Honda engine with two cylinders built into one head. It has 5 gears and has electric start. If you need any more info tell me and Ill try to find out. If there is a web site that helps identify engines can you please let me know. I was wondering what kind of engine it is so I can get parts. All I have is the engine no body so I cant tell.

Answer
Stephen... there are serial numbers stamped on the engine cases that will help identify this engine assy. Honda made 175 twins from 1968 to 1973 in CB (street bike) CL (Scrambler), SL (Motosport) and some CA175s in the late 1960s, which only have a single port, single carburetor design (4 speed). Early engines had slanted cylinders, leaning forward and the later ones have almost vertical cylinders on top of the crankcases.
