how do i adjust the primary chain on a 2002 sportster

Answer
With the bike cold remove the inspection cover located in the middle of the outer primary. Check the chain. It shold fles about 1/2 inch. If not, there is a nut located in the center of the adjuster. Loosen it so the adjuster slides up and down and adjust the chain. Put the cover back on and your good to go.
