i just bought this bike and was wondering if you should be able to shift through all the gears while the bike is sitting still or does it have to be moving to shift? Because it will go into first but cant get it to go any higher.and if you know where I can find a 4 into 1 muffler that will fit the bike thanks for your help

Hi Carl,

The transmission will not shift through the gears without the engine running/transmission rotating. That's normal.

You may get it to shift by rotating the rear wheel slowly by hand as you shift.

You have a 1980 Kawasaki LTD, but the displacement (engine size) was not mentioned. I have a complete 4 into 1 Supertrapp header for sale. It fits the following Kawasaki models: KZ900, KZ1000 CSR/LTD/Spectre, Z-1R, etc...
