I disconnected the spots, the problem remains the same. I also changed the regulator. It seems to me, after testing by an AC volmeter, that a current drain back to the electronic Speedometer..... Please help.

Start the bike and at the battery what voltage are you getting at around 2000RPM

Answer
If your battery is going dead over time then you have a short in the system. I would start by disconnecting the spots and the speedo and see if that doesnt stop the problem. If it still drains they you are going to have to start tracing wires to see where the power is going and where the drain is.
Good luck and happy riding
