Motorcycle Repair: 2002 xr100 gear shifter oil leak, talke, oil leak

Is it a major job to replace the gear shifter shaft (Hours involved) on a 2002 Honda xr100.It is bent a little and oil is seeping out of the seal.Does the seal replace from the outside or inside of the engine.

it should replace from outside talke off old seal heat up the shaft real slow straighten out ,then when it cools out a new seal you will be fine. it would take 3-4 hours to replace sahft, if you need more info im here ok.
