Motorcycle Repair: 1971 honda cb100, restoration tips, motorcycles

I just recently purchased a 71 cb100 for $25, and decided to restore it. When I went to set the points I took the cover off the chargeing unit. Then when I took the cover off oil started comming out. I have no idea if that is suppose to happen or not. If it's not how do i fix it?

Hi James,

Not to worry. Oil is susposed to be there.

Get a copy of the Service Manual and learn about repairing and maintaining your CB100. Here's a link to the manual:
