Motorcycle Repair: atv wont idle, 50cc atv, petcock

Question
My son's 50cc atv won't idle once the choke is pushed all the way in and it runs a little sputtery when it is being ridden.  As soon as it comes to a stop it will die.  Any information on what to do would be helpful.  I am not sure what brand but I think it is an off brand that are not too expensive.  Thanks for your time, you guys do a great job.

it sounds to me the carb need to be cleaned out ,or ther is trash in one of the jets taske the carb off spray it out with a good carb cleaner.also check the petcock for the valve and make sure you have enough fuel flow.are you could have a bad magneto when the engine is not ruuuing as fat the armature is creating  a good enogh field try this and let me know ok. i will get you going guarantee ok.P.S please leave feedback for me ,you can also nominate if you choose god bless.
