Motorcycle Repair: cam shoe tensioners on 04 heritage, best bet, specialty tools

I would like to try to change these shoes in my garage. I don't own any specialty tools. could you give me a step by step breakdown of this job?,or should i take it to a mech.?

If you hve never done it, it might be quit an undertaking. There are alot of steps and you will need some special tools to do the work. It would take to long on here to tell you all that you have to do and all the torques.
You best bet would be to get a service manual for your bike. In it you will find directions on how to do the work as well as pictures to follow.
