Motorcycle Repair: CV carb adjustment, dyno jet kit, ground pounders

could yuo let me know what jet is the intermediate jet? In the manual I see a main jet, a slow jet and a needle. Could you also let me know what size jet I should use for my configuration?

I have a 2002 Softail Nightrian. The Harley dealer put the Dyno jet kit in with the SE slip ons, the bike ran fine. I have since put the Samson ground pounders on with a Kuryakyn twin velocity air cleaner. The bike seems to be OK but when I checked the condition of the spark plugs they have a black sooty deposit on them. Is there an ajustment I can make or do I need to rejet again?

Your going to have to rejet. Your intermediate jet is to large

The intermediate jet is the slow jet which your bike runs on most of the time. There is no set size. What you need to do is pull the jet you have and go 2 sizes smaller and ride the bike to see how it performing while checking the plugs
