Motorcycle Repair: Steering stem bearing replacement, wingthings texas, clutch installation

Question
I read your comments about Steering stem bearing replacement. I would like any info you might have on the subject as I own an '03 gl 1800 and am about to tackle this task. Any tips would be appreciated. What orque tolerances? Use what the Manual says, or more? Thanks Roy Smith

Answer
Hi Roy,

Basically, follow the illustrated procedures in the service manual.
