Motorcycle Repair: Carb Leaking Gas, air screw, carburetor

Question
Hey Kyle,

I have a carb question for you.  I recently purchased a 1970 Honda Sl100.  It's my first bike so I'm a total rookie at this stuff.

The bike ran so/so when I bought it and now it's running pretty rough (mostly because I have adjusted the air and throttle screws on the carb not knowing what I was doing).

I just went out to start the bike and it wouldn't start after about 10 kicks so I stopped.  I noticed gas leaking out of the bottom of the carburetor.  Any time that I shake the bike more gas pours out.  I also noticed a little gas near the air screw on the carb the last time that I rode.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Answer
Ok, this JUST happend to my bike. Like literally i have to fix it today.

You have to take off the carb, then open it up. Once your in there, you have to find the float pin and see if its jambed or something, check any gaskets for wear.

Go to this link, put in your model and year, and find your carburetor:
