Motorcycle Repair: adding coolant to VT1100c, vt1100c, filler neck

1994 VT1100c- coolant not showing between two marks on reservoir. Attempting to add coolant just backs up in the filler neck and doesn't enter reservoir. Removed gas tank and radiator cab hoping to vent air. Didn't work. What else can I do?

Hi Jimmy,

If attempting to fill the reservoir via the reservoir cap fails, remove the tubing that connects the filler cap assy. with the reservoir. Inspect for obstructions and pinched or collapsed tubing.

To clear obstructions, remove tubing and blow compressed air through the tubing.
