Motorcycle Repair: 95 bmw 1100gs, bmw 1100gs, starter relay

no start!i have replaced starter relay and the neutral indicator light came on. if I jump the post at the starter ,it will turn over and start. no voltage at starter button. this might be a differt problem, no running lights in back also.
