Hi, can you tell me how I visually check the oil on a Kawasaki 650kz?  And how can I tell by motorcycle performance if the oil is low?

Is this the awesome & famous singer, Jeff Smith of Dayton, Ohio? : )

Place the KZ on the center stand on level ground. Look for the oil level peep window on the engine's lower right side.

The oil should be maintained between the two lines on the side of the peep window. Keep oil topped off to the upper line.

The only way I can think of to tell 'by performance' if oil is low is... when the engine seizes, it's too low. Seriously, using the peep window is the way to check oil level.
