Motorcycle Repair: Virago 750, periodic maintenance, mths

Question
I have been told that I need to have the tappetts adjusted on my virago every 6 mths or every 6000 kms does this sound correct. Also my horn has stopped working any ideas.

Hi Colin,

The horn(s) likely needs to be replaced. Rust and corrosion forms inside the horn housing preventing the diaphram plates from vibrating, thus no sound.

Adjust vazlve clearance according to the periodic maintenance table loctated in the Owner's and Service Manuals.
