Motorcycle Repair: fxlrc ,wider rear end, best bet, style frame

Hi Mike,first of all i am a little surprised to be on an American website[i am in England].I wish to broaden the rear of my 1990 FXLRC,my ability is very limited and i am being told that nobody does this for this particular model.I suppose i would like maybe 180/200 ideally.I have over the years tried to style my bike nostalgiacly and would also like to retain this look.So if you have any thoughts on the subject i would greatly appreciate hearing them.cheers.

You are pretty limited on the models that can be converted to a wide tire. Most are softail. I havent seen or heard of one for your bike. You best bet would be go with a new frame which will support a 180 to 200 tire. You can get s stock style frame, but the rear is wider for your application.
