Motorcycle Repair: engine, honda cr250f, plug cap

Question
I just bought a 2004 Honda CR250F and was trying to change the
spark plug and I could not figure out how to get the plug out of the
plastic casing.  I have unplugged it from the bike but there seems
to be no way to expose the plug itself from the plastic.  Is this how
I am supposed to replace it - plastic and all?  Thanks DanR

Hi Dan,

Get a copy of the service manual. The manual has illustrated procedures for this and more. It will pay for itself with the first repair or maintenance that you perform.

The plug separates from the plug cap. Disconnect the wiring harness from the cap, pull the cap off.
