Motorcycle Repair: excelerating problems, water in the fuel, float bowl

when excelerating my bike just spuders reel bad and fouls the plug.its a 2005 terminater gt 150cc.

Hi.

Does the bike smell of fuel when you ride it?  If the plug is fouling, there could be a few problems, but start with the possibility that it is running rich.  This could be caused by any number of things, that DO NOT require a change in the mixture.

1) The air filter.  How old is it?  Is it clogged or dirty?  If so, then change it.

2) How about the intake manifold?  Is it loose or leaking air into the system (which will change the mixture)?

3) Is there water in the system?  Drain the float bowl into a clear, dry, glass container and see if there is water in the fuel.

Start with that and see what you find.
