Motorcycle Repair: time problem, ninja 600, compression check

Hello, I have a 86 ninja 600. when i got it the kid told me he had to push start it. i did a compression check had very little. i was wounder if u know were the timeing marks should be, an what the compression should be per cylinder. Any help will be great thanks joe

I recommend that you get a copy of the Service Manual. The information is extensive and I don't have time to text it out for you, respectfully.

If you're performing such tests and making repairs, you'll need the information in the manual. The manual has illustrated procedures and will pay for itself with the first repair you perform.
