my bike will not start WITH THE eclectric start when it is cold, it turns over gets fire and fuel to the jugs but wont start, I can push start it and let it run for a while till it warms up then it will start using the electric start,

Hi Terry,

It's difficult to diagnose the symptoms from the information given. The symptoms needs to be inspected to learn the cause of the problem(s).

What model year is your KZ750? Twin or four cylinder?

Can you provide details on prior service and repairs?

When was last tune-up performed?

Any modifications to engine?

Has the KZ been stored or not started for any periods longer than two weeks?

Can you measure cylinder compression?

Can you describe the appearance of the spark plugs?

What is the age and condition of the battery?


Try and answer the above questions for more thorough reply. We'll go from there.
