Question
Hi,Mark I have a 1990 Kawasaki Ninja ZX750(ZX750H2L)CA.The brake light stays on & I can't get the turnsignals to work.I change the bulbs & check the fuses, they are good. The brake switches worked.I applied the brake levers for the hand & foot, they turned on the brake light on.After that the brake light stayed on.The turnsignals just don't work. Can you help? Thanks David  (mrdavidediaz@yahoo.com)

Answer
Hi David,

The brake and turn signal circuits are simple circuits. However, it's very difficult to explain what to look for and check.

I suspect a brake light switch may need adjusting or the return spring inspected.

The turn signals may have a loose connector, dis-connected connector, defective switch, blown bulbs, corroded bulb sockets, no power, or poor chasis ground.

Respectfully,
