Motorcycle Repair: Timing and setting valves, honda cbr600, head gasket

Hey Mark,
I have a 02 honda cbr600 f4 I put a new head gasket in it and want to put it back together. How do I go about finding TDC and lining all the timing marks up.I have the head back on the cams and covers are off. Any suggestions ?

Get the Service Manual.

My volunteer time is limited. I don't have time to type the extensive procedures found in the manuals, nor can I remember every procedure for all the various MC's.

I recommend the Honda's manual over the cheaper brands. Keep in mind that you get what you pay for.

I urge you to read the manual procedures carefully and thoroughly. There are important things to know about when performing this task.

Work patiently to avoid costly mistakes.

Always review the Service Manual prior to beginning any repairs.
