Motorcycle Repair: clutch adjustment, dyna low rider, clutch adjustment

I have a 95 dyna low rider and my clutch lever has 1 inch play. How do I adjust clutch cable.          Thank you Lori

Follow the clutch cable from the clutch handle and you will see a rubber boot part way down. Slide it out of the way and you will see the adjuster. Loosen the locknut and turn the cable nut to make the cable longer. You need about 1/8 play int he clutch handle. Once you have it adjusted, tighten the locknut and slide the rubber boot back.
