Motorcycle Repair: performance upgrades, dyno jet kit, best bet

Hi Mike,

I have a 2004 Softail Standard that I've added some new mufflers and an air cleaner kit already. What else should I do to get some better performance from my TC88? I'm somewhat mechanical, but I can by no means do major engine work. Just looking for ideas on things I can do for now and what would work best.

SInce you have changed the mufflers and air cleaner what you have done is lean the bike out. Now you need to get it back to richer.
Your best bet is to get a Dyno-jet kit and install it. You will get more throttle responce with it. The kit is easy to install and you should be able to do it yourself just by following the directions that come with it.
