Motorcycle Repair: 1980 Suzuki 550E, accurate diagnosis, shively

I am getting ready to purchase a 1980 suzuki 550E, there is a problem with it that im not sure what it could exactly be. The previos owner told me he was riding it one day and all of the sudden he was loosing speed, and it eventually just died on him. Before this he took it to get the carbs cleaned, etc. He hasn't messed with it since. B/c i am getting it really cheap i want to try and fix it so i can ride it. Do you have any suggestions on what it could be? Thanks for your time,

I would need to inspect the MC to offer an accurate diagnosis. It may be defective electronic ignition or fuel restriction problem, Dunno.
