Motorcycle Repair: fan not working, honda shadow, fan switch

hi mark. i own a 1994 honda shadow vt600c, do you know when the fan should cut in on the bike, i let it tick over  for 25 minutes after a 3 mile ride and still did not kick in,also the temp light does not light up with all the other ignition lights.
any advice will be appreciated.

This cooling system could be working properly or even over cooling.

Test the fan switch, temperature sensor, conductors and connectors, and related circuit wiring.

I already replied to the other question. Much of the same applies here, too. Get the shop manual and work it out.

I'll assist from the keyboard as necessary.
