Motorcycle Repair: i recently obtained a 2002..., 2002 gsxr 1000, maintenance history

i recently obtained a 2002 GSXR 1000. The problem i have is it blows black smoke when i rev it and fouls up the plugs which then prevents it from starting, and when it idles you can hear this kind of stutter like a miss. What do you think is the problem. i need help! thanks in advance!

I need to know the repair and maintenance history, performance modifications and aftermarket parts, was it stored for any periods of time, your environment/altitude, and what lead up to these symptoms and problem.
