Motorcycle Repair: Solo Seat, stock seat, solo seat

I have a 2001 FLSTC and would like to convert my stock seat to a Spring Solo Seat. I want the size of the seat to be comparable to my stock seat. I can't find any thing on the net that tells me every thing I need to do this. Can you help me?

I did some checking and the only thing I can find is from a company called V-twin. The problem is the system they have only goes up to 1999. I cant locate anything for anything newer. You might get one, but you will probably have to modify it to fit your bike. Sorry I couldnt be more help.
