Motorcycle Repair: brakes, honda cbr 600, happy holidays

Question
Chris, I recently purchased a 2001 honda cbr 600 f4i, I have always heard a slight scraping noise from the front brakes as if they are catching.  I pulled the brake pads out and noticed that the pads on the right rotor on the front wheel were wearing much greater than that of the left rotor.  Are there any quick fixes or adjustments that I can make to fix the problems?  Thank you for your help and happy holidays.
Mitchell.

Answer
Hi Mitchell.
Have you checked the rotor to see if it is warped?  It is also possible that both sets of pads were not changed together, as they should have been.  Therefore, one set would be closer to being due for replacement than the other set.

If you feel a pull to the right when you hit the brakes, then you may want to bleed the brakes as well.

Start with that and see what happens.
Good luck.
