Motorcycle Repair: starting my gsxr, suzuki gsxr 600, 2002 suzuki gsxr 600

I recently bought a 2002 suzuki gsxr 600 and I have been happy with it up till now. whenI turn the key to the run position all the lights go on , but its missing the "raising" sound.The check engine comes on with a picture of an oil can and the trouble code 2310 appears. any Ideas?

Sorry to hear about the Gixxer problem. Unfortuanately, you'll have to contact a Suzuki dealer reference the trouble code. I do not have access to that intel.

You may find a website dedicated to GSX-R's on line or a tech forum such as "www.motorcycle-usa.com" and click on "Message Boards" then ask other members about the code.
