Motorcycle Repair: Honda v65 magna 1985, honda v65 magna, fan switch

Chris I changed the radiator on my bike and now it is overheating.  The radiator is used so I am cleaning it out with a radiator flush.  Any other ideas why it would overheat?  The fan works and the bike begins to overheat and release water before the temp. is in the red.  How hard is it to wire a fan switch that runs all the time?

Hi Bob.
 You don't want to wire the fan to run continuously.  What you may want to do instead is to wire a switch up to the thermosensor wiring.  That will allow you to run the fan when you feel you should and not burn out the electric motor.  This is very effective.  I know, because I have done it with my 84 V65.
