Motorcycle Repair: Honda shifter pedal adjustment, honda model, swivel connector

Hi Mark, Honda 99 shadow 750, how do you adjust shifter pedal height to allow my FOOT to get under the pad after installing KURYAKYN floor boards. I noticed a swivel connector and lock nut on the pedal arm but I cannot turn the swivel into the connecting rod-any ideas would be great man. Cheers Pete.

Hi Peter,

My "guess" is to take the linkage part off at the shift shaft and rotate the linkage a few points (spline teeth) to allow pedal lever to be positioned higher. Fine tune with adjuster rod.

Remove fastener #28 and rotate part #2 as described above. Otherwise, call Kuryakyn. They'll have the answer for sure.
