Motorcycle Repair: cb750f2n, hydraulic lifters, cam chain

Hi chris
i have what sounds like a sticking valve on my cb750f2n (1996). is it possible that the hydraulic valves need bleeding and if so how do i go about it. The problem has been intermitant for about 2 months, but today is much louder than usual
my other thought was that it could be the cam chain tensioner that needs adjusting.
what do you think.

Hi Mark.
 Start by doing the cam chain adjustment.  If that doesn't work, then it is possible that the hydraulic lifters need bleeding.  For that, there should be a proceedure in the repair manual (the proceedure tends to differ slightly from bike to bike).
