Motorcycle Repair: Interchanging parts, cm400t, honda dealership

   I was currently at ebay searching for used parts for my 1980 Honda CM400E.  My question is of compatability.  Do most parts from other CM's  around the same year, like CM400T and CM400A, compatable with my motorcycle?  Parts that I wish to purchase are the ignition coil, cdi ignition box, voltage regulator and choke cable.  Any idea where I can get most of these hard to find parts?

Hi Ray.
 The problem with your question is not so simple as a yes or no.  I am certain that there are going to be some parts that are interchangable.  However, I do not know which ones are interchangable or not.

 Check with a Honda dealership parts department.  They could answer that question for you with more certainty than anyone else.  They have the databases that are needed to find it.
