Motorcycle Repair: BIKE IS BACKFIRING!!, ultra ground pounder, pilot jet

I HAVE A 1998 ULTRA GROUND POUNDER WITH AN S&S 96ci.MOTOR. THE BIKE STARTED BACKFIRING AS I WOULD BE RIDING IT.SO I FIGURED IT WAS ABOUT TIME I REPLACE THE PLUGS,WIRES,AND IGNITION COIL.I STARTED IT UP A FEW MINUTES AGO AND IT IS STILL BACKFIRING AND DOES NOT WANT TO HOLD AN IDLE.(IT STALLS OUT).WONDERING IF YOU MIGHT HAVE SOME ADVICE.

first check for a intake manifold leak by spraying brake cleaner between the intake manifold and the heads. If the idle changes when spraying you have a intake leak. Replace manifold 0_rings  Also remove the pilot jet and install the next larger pilot size jet.
